I cannot remember my username.
Your username is your email address. If your email address has changed over
time, use the email address that you had when you first registered in the
Biz2School system.
I forgot my password.
If you cannot remember your password, go to the login page and click the forgot your
password link. You will be asked for your
email. Then you will receive a temporary password in your email. You will need to
login with the temporary password and update your password.
How do schools register?
If you are new to the system, go to the login page. On the upper right of the
page you will see the New User Registration Box. Select School and click
Continue. You will be asked some security questions. These questions ensure that
you are a valid school. If the system does not recognize your information, you
will be prompted to contact an RESC representative. RESC can add your account
manually if needed.

I need help registering as a school, I have tried to validate my school's
information and I still cannot get into the system.
Call your RESC representative. An RESC representative or a Biz2School
administrator will validate that you are actually a principal for a legitimate
school, and they can setup your account for you manually. The representative
will give you username and password. You should login immediately, and update your
profile with your industry clusters and services and reset your password.
How do I change my primary email or username?
Your primary email is your username. The Biz2school system does not allow you to
change your email/username at this time. However, you can go to your School
Profile and enter a secondary email. This secondary email will be copied on all
emails from the system. You may update the secondary email whenever needed.
Also, schools have the option to add other contacts to designate for specific
requests.
I have multiple school contacts that need to be contacted for specific requests.
What do I need to do to set this up?
Login to the Biz2School system; go to your school profile. Click on the
‘Add/manage contacts for email requests’ header. If you do not have any
contacts, fill in the fields and click ‘Add New’. If you do have contacts
entered, you can select them from the list to update each contact. Now that your
contacts are in the system, you will have the option during the request entry to
select which contact is designated for that request.
How do I make a request to a single business?
Click ‘Make a New Request’ from your menu. Select send a single business
request. Fill in the fields and click ‘Submit’. Be sure to select the school
contact. An email will be sent directly to the business, with the request
details. Once the business responds to accept or decline, you will receive an
email notification.
How do I make a request to multiple businesses at one time?
Click ‘Make a New Request’ from your menu. Select send a multi-business request.
Fill in the fields and click ‘Submit’. Emails will be sent to all the businesses, with the request details. Businesses can
accept or decline; you will be notified via email as they respond. Once all of
the businesses respond, you will need to choose a business.
I made a multi-business request. How do I choose a business?
Login to biz2school system, Go to ‘Request Search’. Find the request that you
want and click the ‘Select’ button. Once you are in the manage request page,
click the link ‘Choose a Business’. You will see all of the businesses that
received your request, with their response. Click ‘Choose me’ for the business
you want. An email will be sent to notify the businesses that were not chosen. You can then
change the status of this request to 'Request Confirmed.' This will send an
email to the accepted business to let them know you have confirmed this request.
I went to make a new request and the select school contact is blank.
This field is optional, used by schools that want different contact information
to be displayed in the Biz2school emails to businesses. These contacts need to
be setup in the School profile. If the contacts are not setup in the profile, this field
will show up blank.
I got an offer from a business, but I do not want to accept. What do I do?
Click the cancel option in the email for that request. Or login with your
account information, click on ‘Request Search’ and find the offer that you want
to cancel. You can filter by ‘Service request Offered’ to see only requests that
have been offered. Click on ‘Select’ button for request that you need to cancel.
The request details will display and you can select from the dropdown ‘Service
Request Cancelled’. Scroll down and click the ‘Submit’ button.
The options in the email to confirm, cancel, accept, or decline are not working when I click on
them.
When you click the links to confirm, cancel, accept, or decline, it should tell you if
it has been processed through the Biz2school system. These links within the
email are set to only work one time. If you get an error, it may be that you
already clicked the link. To be sure, login to the Biz2School system, go to
'Request Search' and find this request. You can see the status. If you need to
change the status manually, hit the 'Select' button and choose the correct
status from the dropdown. Then click 'Submit.'
What do I need to do once the business has fulfilled the request?
Login to the Biz2School system, click on the ‘Request Search’ option. Find the
request and click ‘Select’. Change the status to ‘Service Request Completed’ and
rate the business. Scroll down and click ‘Submit.’ If you do not mark a request
as completed or cancelled after the request date, you will receive reminder
emails.

How do I change my primary email/username?

How do I make a service offering to a particular school?
Once you are logged into your business account in the Biz2school system, look
for the menu item ‘Business Offering’. Click on the Business Offering menu item.
First, review your business information to make sure this information is
accurate. Next, select the parish of the school you want to help. Choose the
school and select the industry cluster and service type for this specific
business offering. Enter a date and service description. Click the ‘Submit’
button. The school will be notified with your business offering via email.
Can I make offerings to all schools in a region at one time?
No. Currently, the system only allows businesses to send one school an offering
at a time. If you have 5 schools that you want to offer to, send five separate
business offerings.
I made a service offering to a school and never received a response. What next?
You should receive a response via email. The system is set up so that a school
can confirm or cancel the offer you sent with one button click. If the School does not
respond, automatic emails are sent to remind them. If you never receive an email
response, check your email address in your business profile. All emails will go
to your primary email and your secondary email.
I made a service offering, and the school confirmed. What next?
At this point, you should be calling the School to get the details set up between
the two of you. Once the service occurs, the school will mark this request as
completed through the Biz2school system.
I see some outstanding school requests that I want to respond to. What can I do?
If you see an outstanding school request that your business is interested in, go
to the ‘Business Offering’ menu item and fill out the fields to make a new
service offering to send to that School.
How do I accept or decline a school request?
When the school makes a single business request to you, you should receive an
email notification. Within the email, there will be an option to accept or
decline the request. When either of these links is clicked, it will
automatically process through the Biz2School system and send an email to the
School notifying them of your decision. You can also login to the Biz2School
system and click on ‘Request List’. Find the Request that interests you; click
the ‘Select’ button for that request. You will see the request details. At the
top, you can change the status by selecting the option from the dropdown. If you
wish to enter a comment to be sent to the school, you can enter your comment in
the box. And click the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page.
What do I need to do if I get a request from a school that I am interested in,
but I need to change the date or something else about the request?
Login to Biz2School using your email as username and your password. Click on
‘Request List’ from the menu. Find the request that you need to change and click
the ‘Select’ button. In the status dropdown at the top, click ‘Service Request
Change Needed’. Enter a reason for the change and click the ‘submit’ button at
the bottom of the page.
What happens after I accept a School request that was sent to multiple
businesses?
After you accept, the School must choose a business. Once the school makes a
choice, you will be notified via email if you were not chosen. If the school has
picked you, a confirmation email should be sent to you.
I need to update my profile to show more locations and more services. What do I do?
Login to the system, and click on
‘Business Profile.’ You can update your business information, your industry
clusters, and your services. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click
‘Update’
I do not want my business information to be shown to the public, but I
still would like to participate.
Login to the system, and click on ‘Business
Profile.’ Scroll to the bottom of the page and look at Biz2School Directory
settings. You can select ‘Do not include any of my information’ and click the
‘Update’ button.
I do not want to participate in Biz2School anymore? What do I need to do to get
my information off the site?
Login to the system, and click on ‘Business Profile.’ Scroll to the bottom of
the page and click ‘I want to disable my profile’. This will remove your
business from future activity within the system.
